Safeguarding Policy

Last reviewed: 17 February 2026

This policy explains how YourHealthXpert protects children, young people, and adults at risk when using our UK content and contact pathways.

Immediate risk and emergency action

  • If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 now.
  • For urgent medical help that is not life-threatening, contact NHS 111.
  • If there is an immediate safeguarding concern, contact local safeguarding services or police.

Our safeguarding commitments

  • We publish safety-first guidance and do not encourage unsafe treatment decisions.
  • We review high-risk medical pages under our Medical Review Policy.
  • We provide clear escalation language for urgent care and emergency support.
  • We investigate safeguarding-related complaints through our Complaints Policy.

How to report a safeguarding concern

Email concerns to our team via Contact with:

  • What happened and when
  • Who may be affected (without sharing unnecessary private data)
  • Any urgent risk indicators

We triage safeguarding reports as priority and can remove, amend, or escalate content/workflows where risk is identified.
