This policy explains how YourHealthXpert protects children, young people, and adults at risk when using our UK content and contact pathways.
Immediate risk and emergency action
- If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 now.
- For urgent medical help that is not life-threatening, contact NHS 111.
- If there is an immediate safeguarding concern, contact local safeguarding services or police.
Our safeguarding commitments
- We publish safety-first guidance and do not encourage unsafe treatment decisions.
- We review high-risk medical pages under our Medical Review Policy.
- We provide clear escalation language for urgent care and emergency support.
- We investigate safeguarding-related complaints through our Complaints Policy.
How to report a safeguarding concern
Email concerns to our team via Contact with:
- What happened and when
- Who may be affected (without sharing unnecessary private data)
- Any urgent risk indicators
We triage safeguarding reports as priority and can remove, amend, or escalate content/workflows where risk is identified.
